Having exhibited at the BETT show some years ago we were approached by Optic Media, a company based near Paris, to develop a solution for their school application. They had a long list of very specific requirements:
Key lockable TSA locks
RJ45 feed through access for router
WiFi Router socket to have illuminated switch access from outside the case.
Provision for WiFi Router in lid of case, with the ability to hold routers of varying sizes.
Internal mains board with French mains sockets (Type E) plus extra for laptop and WiFi Router, all to be arranged in a very specific orientation to suit the devices in use.
The design was completed and has been a great success, resulting in over a thousand products shipped in the last four years. Here are some images of the finished product.
